The Ventus is our aluminium range – it’s zero-maintenance with an adjustable louvred roof. The Trellus is our timber range – pressure-treated softwood with fixed joists. Ventus has greater flexibility while Trellus offers a natural look.
For most gardens, no. Both ranges stand around 2.5m tall (Ventus at 2.5m, Trellus at 2.4m), which typically sits within permitted development limits. See our Planning Permission page for more details.
Yes. Both ranges are designed for straightforward two-person assembly. Alternatively, we can install a Trellus or Ventus pergola for you.
Fitted kitchens (Pequeno, Gaucho, Churrasco) come fully equipped with a grill, worktops, cabinets and air extraction. The Alfresco is the same premium shell, unfitted. So you could bring your own grill, or use it as a bar, media wall or for storage.
It depends how you cook. The Beef Eater 1600E gas barbecue is fast to light and great for weeknight cooking. The Big Green Egg charcoal barbecue (endorsed by chef Tom Kerridge) offers smoke, slow cooking and higher heat. Both are commercial-quality grills.

A shell only takes two to three days on average, fully fitted outdoor kitchens three to four days, and pergolas around a day. Exact timings depend on the spec and site.

We supply and install smart composite decking platforms for both pergola ranges – any size or shape, priced by consultation. For outdoor kitchens, the survey confirms what your site needs.
